CURRENT MISSION Settled in Melbourne, up for meeting people of all types ABOUT ME This feels like a weird kind of internet dating. So! I'm a 26 year old Kiwi girl who has recently made the jump across the ditch. I spent the end of 2013 and the first half of 2014 travelling through South America, including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and more. Absolutely loved my time there, but at some point you need a pay cheque! I'm now settled in Brunswick with three flatmates who I met on my travels. I work in the city during the day and love to search out quality craft beer, interesting bars, restaurants and markets in my down time. PHILOSOPHY "But first we'll live." Know the quote? We can definitely be friends.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I haven't actually been hosted by anybody as yet myself, but now that I'm in Melbourne I've started to host people and attend CS meetups and events. Have met some wonderful people already, and look forward to meeting more!
Music, Movies, and Books
Authors: Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Stieg Larsson Books: American Psycho, Less Than Zero, Catch 22, Requiem for a Dream, Perfume, Song of Ice and Fire series, Trainspotting, Fight Club, Lolita, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest... Movies: The Lion King, The Room, Labyrinth, Fight Club (it's just a really good story ok?), 10 Things I Hate About You, Wolf of Wall Street
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbing the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia was one of the best days I've ever had. Even better than Machu Picchu!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you really like, I could teach you how to write a bit of shorthand. It's like alien writing. Always up for a bit of salsa dancing too, if you're open to learning!
My Interests
Aside from the usual 'travel' response, I'm into swing and salsa dancing, a bit of photography (although I desperately need a new SLR), keep challenging myself to learn one damn song on the guitar, and want to improve upon the Spanish I learnt in South America (which is still very limited).
