Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Currently I'm surfing, but I'm excited to go back home so that I can host and pay forward some of the kindness that people have shown me on my travels. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couchsurfed a lot in the past year in Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places from their point of view. I am a huge advocate of the couchsurfing philosophy.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like folk, bluegrass, acoustic, rock, jazz, and classic rock, but I'm always open to new music. I generally lean towards Independent movies and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Ridden in a jeep on the Srinagar-Leh highway in northern India, bag strapped to the roof, looking over the cliff edge...for 15 hours.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Attempts at cooking, a song or two if there's an instrument around, positive energy.
My Interests
I live for music and the outdoors. If I'm not picking my banjo or guitar, I'm hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, climbing, or swimming. I enjoy peaceful Saturdays reading and going to the farmer's market. I'm very interested in food, farming, and agriculture.
