Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think hotels are a really good invention for business trips or honey moon. But when I go somewhere, to visit country and culture, it makes much more sense to share with local people. And as a guest gift you always bring your own personality and life experience with you. In German we say: Der Weg ist das Ziel!
