Couchsurfing just makes travellig more interesting. To meet the locals is the best way to learn about the culture and get an authentic travel experience that no travel agency can sell you. I have both hosted some couchsurfers in my house in Estonia and been couchsurfing myself in Italy. I have met many wonderful persons and had lot of good time.
