CURRENT MISSION My masters degree in organic agriculture :) ABOUT ME I am in my 30s and I don't have a classical career, but I am also not interested in that. I am aiming for a simple, but happy life. I started cooking relatively recently (2014), because I really enjoy knowing and deciding what's in my food. I never understood the capitalist idea of constant growth. That seems very unnatural to me and also unwise. I like people like Masanobu Fukuoka and Gandhi :D I think of myself as a super rational person, who likes to research and watch things, but for some people I am just a hippie I guess. I don't drink alcohol or take any other kind of drug... ok, sometimes I am quite high on sugar (damn stuff!), that's the hardest drug for me! I am not spiritual whatsoever and I don't seem to miss at all :D I am a scientist after all ;) In general I am a "do" person. I am not the one who lays down at the beach sipping cocktails and tans, but the one who goes out snorkelling, free diving or (tries at least :D) surfing. :) Please don't accept my request and host me if you rather have a party until 4am or play computer games in the public room with me trying to sleep in it :/

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I surfed at several places in Australia, England, Japan, Germany, Bali, Israel, New Zealand, Greece, Bulgaria, Vietnam and Palestine. I see CS as great opportunity to meet local people and lifestyles and also a great way to save money, which in turn makes it possible to travel at all for a lot of people. And: You guys are my Lonely Planet :D I love it to get advice and recommendations from CSlers instead of reading beforehand in a heavy book, which I also need to carry around! Ugh! Sometimes I'll arrive late or very tired and then all I desire is maybe a shower and a bed and then I am simply not very social, which doesn't mean I am unfriendly :) If I host in the future, it will be fine also, when people just stay over for a night's sleep in a bed, esspecially if they have low budget or there is no hotel nearby.

I do horseback riding since I am 8, so if there is a horse I could teach and would enjoy join riding. I would like to start surfing and learn more about drumming. Did it a few times and it was great fun:)
