i'm originally from louisville, kentucky, though i recently moved to the red river gorge in southeastern kentucky after finishing up a bachelor's degree in berea, kentucky. i really love a lot of things. people, plants, and clay about sums it up at the moment. i make pottery, study plants (especially interested in herbal medicine), love cooking and fermenting (mostly vegan), adore hiking and yoga, and am madly in love with the appalachian mountains. that's just the short bit of it all.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
i love meeting new people, and have had great fun with couchsurfers in the past, and as a couchsurfer a couple of times. i understand how difficult it can be to find a place to stay when traveling, and it also helps so much to have someone to talk to or even hang out with, for even a couple of minutes, when in a new area.

so many. i love all music. movies make me fall asleep. i don't read as many books as i'd like.
