CURRENT MISSION Becoming an anthropologist! ABOUT ME I was borned and raised in Brasil but my parents and the rest of my family are from Peru. And I think I've always lived my life both ways: beeing happy and dancing samba and in love with the cultural and spiritual heritage of our ancient american people. I'm a designer, photographer and soon, an anthropologist. I guess my most remarkable job was in Cusco-Peru, when I worked with native andean communities. After I came back to Brasil I had "all kinds" of jobs related to fashion design and social projects, like beeing a teacher inside female prision. And right now I am back to university, studying anthropology. It´s an old dream, and never too late to go after it. Everything is making sense! PHILOSOPHY Helping the other is what helps myself.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I started using CouchSurfing for real when I lived at an apartment in Lima-Peru where all the roomates were Couchsurfers. We'd get people from all over the world all the time, and that was just amazing. After that, I hosted some people at my own appartment, still in Lima, and also in my hometown, Florianópolis (Brasil). I do use Couchsurfing a lot when I travel and thanks to the community my travels have become rich and unique experiences.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Working with Peru's native communities of the Andes mountains; Nature-related stuff, like seeing wild animals in Africa, so as whales, dolphins and sea turtles in Florianopolis; Beeing a teacher at female's prision and surprising myself with the amount of love one can find at a place like that.
My Interests
I no longer drink alcohol or eat meet, but I enjoy dancing (mostly samba), meeting interesting people, whatever related to nature or water (specially swimming), photography, art and of course, culture, which is my main passion :D
