I am a fiddle and banjo player currently living and teaching in Santiago de Compostela, and am returning to couchsurfing after a long hiatus. It feels good to be back :). I grew up in New Jersey, but has since lived in Philadelphia, Ohio, Portland, Oregon, and Granada, Spain. After a few years back in the US after my time in Granada, I decided that it was time to get back to Spain again. I´ve been in Galicia for a bit more than two years now and have been enjoying the life here.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have always enjoyed hosting as much as surfing. Meeting people and seeing their towns/cities from their perspective is the best way to see a new place, and having people visit where I am living makes me see it from a different perspective as well. Also, it is always nice to make new friends on the road!
Music, Movies, and Books
I spend most of my life playing old-time fiddle and banjo (southern appalachian dance tunes), but I can also enjoy other music too. Reading is also an important part of my life.
