CURRENT MISSION To see new things, meet new people, challenge myself and do something to give back to the world. ABOUT ME I'm a medical student with background degrees in violin performance and East Asian Languages. It's a bit of a switch, but I like to keep things interesting (plus, it's nice to have money to eat). I enjoy a positive, yet realistic look on life! I love meeting new people, exploring the world and learning new things. Basically, I like challenging myself both mentally and physically. I can be both either an introvert or extrovert, but I gravitate towards smaller gatherings where I can better get to know people. When I travel I make general plans and then let the current of life take me from there. I mostly travel alone but I love meeting up with people to see and do new things. Probably my most memorable trips in my life were my year living in Korea, volunteering in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, hiking around in Kyoto in the winter and attending some amazing weddings in India. Oh, and last year (2015) I spent 3.5 months backpacking from Korea to England. Hit about 20 countries in total and walked away with 2 full SD cars of pictures + 2 scars (which were totally worth it).
