I won't host until OCTOBER 2026 (except friends) PLEASE read my profile! I'm receiving so many requests I can't answer everyone. Anyone who hasn't read it will receive a negative response without any explanation. And if you don't master Shakespeare's language, we've got the chance to have high speed translation tools in our modern ages that I strongly recommend to use ! I must specify that I have no religion so no need to try to attract me with that kind of speech (not all people who live in Lourdes are Catholics!) Thanks ! Hi, I'm an open-minded, positive person who love life and enjoy it as much as I can. As Dalai Lama says: "Happiness is not something ready made, it comes from your own actions" My friends say I'm funny and very adventurous and I love meeting people alike. I'm also very respectful. I'm interested in meeting world travelers or host but only one person at a time. Vegan or vegetarian preferred as my fridge doesn't like to be filled with coarpses 🙂 but if you're not that's ok as long as you don't bring raw meat (cans are ok) I lived in New York City and Paris for many years and now in Lourdes in France. I'm a vegetarian (since birth).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is great as it enables to truly live locals life and discover their culture. I was hosted in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia ant Tahiti where I travelled for some months during a world wide tour. I also participated in events in Malta, London, Galway and welcomed travelers from Russia, Argentina, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany. I receive lots of hosting requests, especially during spring and summer. I'd be happy to host you or meet you if you truly have the Couchsurfing spirit. As i want to make sure you fully read my profile could you please write this sentence in your personalized request (no copy paste). "Hi Najette, I respect you and don't consider you to be only a means to get free food and accomodation" * I remind you that you get your private bedroom. As I travel a lot myself (last minute) and live day by day there's absolutely no need to send me a request weeks or months in advance. 1 day to 5 days max before arrival is the best.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like new wave, alternative rock, electro, reggae, Scottish, Irish and world music. About movies I love sci-fi, comic, fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- My extraordinary adventure is high resilience towards the most painful times in life...on a positive note I add some leisure ones that are unforgettable : - Hitch hiking competition in France (scored in top 200 amongst 3000 participants) - Skydiving in Cairns in Australia, amazing feeling - Scubadiving in Rangiroa and Fakarava in French Polynesia surrounded by all sorts of beautiful and friendly sharks - Back packed and hitch hiked in Iceland, all around the country. Great adventure, with the best hiking I've ever done and I truly loved the kindness and warmth of Icelandic people :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to invite you for a drink or 2, or dinner when I'm hosted. I can also bring a souvenir from Lourdes or the south of France. As a guest I appreciate if you do something similar. There's nothing worse than feeling used as a full board hotel.
What I Can Share With Hosts
For the best Couchsurfing experience I can show you around, share leisure activities (like hiking for example) and if you prefer to be alone sometimes I fully respect it. The goal being that we both enjoy time at our own pace and respect our privacy too.
My Interests
I love travelling, mainly without planning, and feel the adrenaline of spontaneous living. My best experiences ! I also love meeting new people, discovering different cultures, nature, animals, sports like scuba-diving, hiking, swimming, kayaking… I am also VERY passionate about French Polynesian culture, music and practice Tahitian dance.
