CURRENT MISSION Finding new ways and opportunities to surprise myself! ABOUT ME A little quiet and introvert to start with but friendly and easy to get along. Interested in learning and traveling though haven't had an opportunity to travel much. My CS experiences have exposed me to people from different cultures, backgrounds and countries. I am confident that I have grown as an individual through my interactions and also facilitated growth in surfers and people I met in a positive sense. The rest is to be discovered when we meet! Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I like to host people, which gives me an opportunity to learn about different cultures and backgrounds. It also helps me get advices from people who have traveled about traveling. Later I hope to develop connections and bonds that will enable me to see the countryside of Europe when I travel COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far ... all my experiences have been wonderful and positive and I hope to have many more such experiences. Movies - Love Indian movies , In Hollywood i like the Pursuit of Happiness( i can somehow relate to it through my job) , The Bourne Series .. but mostly i m a tv series addict with some of my fav being - Queen's Gambit, The Office, Friends, House, Entourage, Big Bang theory... Music - all music that is soothing to the ear Books - The difficulty of being good - it draws on parallels between the Mahabharata( Hindu Mythological scripture) and the modern corporate world Cosmogenesis - The origin of Order in Universe (the architecture and design of universe)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Helped in distributing 50 solar lanterns in an Indian village to replace Kerosene lanterns which the kids use to study .. That remains a very fulfilling work. Cliff Jumping in Hampi Experiencing Intersection of culture at McCloed Ganj.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Hindi ...and would love to learn a European language (though French remains my first choice). I can possibly help you understand traditions/beliefs/practices associated with India. Having worked with a very successful Entrepreneur and also worked in a startup that failed I can give advices on what works and what does not if you are interested in entrepreneurship.
My Interests
I would rate meeting people right at the top,Indian Mythology fascinates me, Animal rights and yes always exploring (like very recently i realized i love planting trees)
