CURRENT MISSION To see and do as much as I possibly can before my body quits on me. ABOUT ME Well, the most obvious thing to mention is that I was born without legs. No other medical complications, I'm just short. I get around on my hands with the occasional help (also for fun)of a skateboard. I grew up in a small town in the US and was raised to love the outdoors. I've been a ski racer for the past 8 years and a gymnast before that. Travelling is more than just a fun vacation time for me. I like travelling by alone for the sake of learning more about myself and others. PHILOSOPHY Live like its a responsibility. There is a lot of stuff you need to do before the deadline of death hits you on the noggin.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Heaps of couch surfing in the US. I've become used to sleeping on various couches in my ski gear. Being the poor Uni student down in NZ given me a taste for the ratty couches of a shared flat, but anything will do. I love staying in a house with people who enjoy new company.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Probably one of the most amazing things I've ever been witness to was travelling through Kyiv, Ukraine and climbing the bell tower at Saint Sophia's Cathedral. Looking out over the city while the beautiful bells deafened my ears is something I will always remember.

Hmmm. Well, I'd be happy to teach people about filmmaking, photography, NZ theatre, disabled skiing and ski racing, the finer points of skateboarding, and the rural West of the US.
My Interests
Skiing is a big one. Music, travelling, skateboarding, all things outdoors and active. Eating new food. Visiting small towns. Camping in the mountains. Surfing, reading.
