Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We are during our honey moon and we really love meeting people and hanging out with them. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Rather small, but do not worry, we are nice ;)
Music, Movies, and Books
We love reading books, so Kindle is our close friend during each travel. Lucas prefers polish poetry, prose (Houellebecq, Stasiuk) and reportage (Theroux). We met in Poland during the music festival and we admire listening to the rock and folk music. Lucas is the great fan of The Queen, while Patrycja likes Radiohead. We are not a cinema freaks, but Patrycja loves Doctor Who series.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
We got married in 2017, so for us this is the most amazing thing, we've done together, but... Before the marriage Lucas did alone the pilgrimage from Warsaw to Santiago de Compostela. During his Camino he walked 4000km through Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Spain. Patrycja did play for the theatre in her home-town. He also hitch-hiked from Poland to Spain.
Teach, Learn, Share
Patrycja can teach someone how to play the ukulele ;)
What I Can Share With Hosts
Patrycja does play the ukulele, so she may give the concert for the hosts. We may cook something from polish cousine, but we are vegeterian, so without meat ;) Lucas loves talking, so he can brighten the day with some chat.
My Interests
Lucas: First of all sport, especially football (sunday league player) and volleyball (I used to play as libero in few amateur teams). I am big supporter of Legia, I have my room full of scarves and another sport souvenirs. My second passion is literature, I love to read novels as well as poems. My great idol is Jacek Kaczmarski (the voice of polish Solidarity). And of course travels :) Patrycja: My great passion is music, as a perfect form of communication. Especially singing folk songs (in Poland that music genre is known as "sung poetry"). My second hobby is Theatre of the Absurd (favourite authors: Eugene Ionesco, Witold Gombrowicz and Sławomir Mrożek) and I am an actress in my hometown theatre. I am also intrested in ancient philosophy, especially stoicism.
