I love to travel and live the nomadic lifestyle which I've been doing off and on for the past 7 years. I try to live presently, in the now and not worry so much about what may or may not happen tomorrow. When I am in Ontario, I work as a social worker with adults and youth who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is very challenging and rewarding and has helped me develop more patience and compassion. More recently, I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Ireland as well as AcroYoga immersions in Colombia and Slovakia. I have also attended 2, 10-day Vipassana Meditation courses: once in India and once in Canada.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I first joined to host people when I used to live in Vancouver. I hosted a handful of times and had great experiences meeting new people and showing them around the city. It is simply a great way to make friends!
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music but lean mostly towards alternative folk. It really depends on the season. I love non-fiction books and documentary films that educate humanity on how to live more intelligent, sustainable and health conscious lives.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I rode a horse full speed down Maderas volcano on Ometepe island in Nicaragua at sunset. Was my first time on a horse! Travelled through India and Nepal for one year...spent 5 days on a ferry from Chennai to the Andaman Islands sleeping on my hammock, overlooking the Indian Ocean. :)

What I Can Share With Hosts
We can share yoga, acroyoga, travel stories, recipes, conversation, etc.
My Interests
I love biking, hiking, and playing ice hockey. I recently got into Pilates as well which is intense but great! I like to cook and be creative in the kitchen...more recently with raw desserts. I eat mostly vegetarian and health conscious meals.
