CURRENT MISSION To Host Interesting People ABOUT ME I am 54 young at heart. I have always used finances as an excuse for not travelling and seeing the world. I will try hosting people first, then if that works out will try couchsurfing myself. I have a 19 year old daughter, Art Major, and 20 year old son, Science Major, who live nearby and would gladly show people around Providence and Boston. They are huge anime enthusiasts. As for me, I am what you would call a "progressive". PHILOSOPHY Nonjudgmental. Peaceful. Sharing. Seeker of Truth, Peace.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am new to this...will start as a couchsurfing host. In the summer the Providence Waterfire is a great experience! The beaches are not far and Boston is a 40 minute train ride from here. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE none yet.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Peoples History of the United States is a must read. It isn't the history book you had in school. I love most movies. I especially enjoy offbest/artistic/foreign flicks.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
My life experience has been stranger than fiction. I had worked as an assistant to top Executives of major corporations, have done estate plans for the extremely wealthy. I have had a personal situation in which a U.S. Senator committed an act that did harm to me and my children (he was doing a political favor for someone). I met him by chance afterwards and he refuses to apologize for his actions. I have known some famous people, and yet I am relatively poor (in U. S. terms, which is not so poor in terms of the Global view).
