CURRENT MISSION Stockpiling karma for a rainy day ABOUT ME Well, I was born and raised in Victoria, BC. I spent a lot of time talking with the folks who hang out in the CS Chat when I first joined the site. I caught the traveling bug during the summer of '08 when I visited Germany, and took part in the Berlin Beach Camp, meeting tons of travelers and some of the site's moderators. PHILOSOPHY I believe that one should always strive to better themselves and seek out new experiences.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've hosted, I've surfed, I've attended massive meet-ups and little local ones. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Surfed across Europe a couple times and hosted a number of travelers.

It's good to leave some things to chat about when we meet. I spend a lot of time with books and movies, so if you want to find a good one of either, let me know.

I've got a pretty good vocabulary in English, so I'm probably a good person to chat with if it's your second (or third) language. I'd really like to learn other languages, but I haven't yet. Perhaps you could teach me a few phrases in yours.

My Interests
I have a huge interest in film. I used to work at a nice little movie store. I also start going a little crazy if I'm not plodding my way through a good novel. I can pick up most things and get pretty good at them. Surfing, fire spinning, things like that. I've worked with wine and spirits for several years, I've got some formal education and always enjoy chatting booze.
