CURRENT MISSION Exploring Cairns and making the most of this new city I've found myself in ABOUT ME I've been pretty nomadic and spent time in a few places, in both Australia and overseas. A couple of highlights have been a 6 month cycling adventure when I travelled around Europe on my push bike, camping all along the way. It was an incredible experience, testing myself, seeing beautiful scenery, and meeting amazing people along the way. I also had a pretty special time in Darwin. I was working in health promotion with remote indigenous people. This gave me the opportunity to meet and work with our indigenous people, and learn a lot along the way. I also got to travel to some really remote places I the Northern Territory which was priceless. I love to cycle, run, hike, I love to travel, and I love meeting new people. I enjoy hearing peoples stories, and listening to their plans for the future. I am interested in people´s values... what they enjoy and what they consider to be important.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING When I was in Europe I stayed at 3 CS houses. This was a great experience and a great way to get involved in the local culture Since I've been back in Australia I have always been in share houses and not really able to host. I have helped out with some airport transfers and car storage, but the main thing I have been involved in CS for is the sense of community. It's a great way to meet people and share things like BBQs and bushwalks COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have been hosted a few times and each time has been great! CSing activities like BBQs have always been a lot of fun
Music, Movies, and Books
A Slow Journey South - Paula Constant (a great book about a couple who walked from London to Africa - 5000kms in 12 months!) I love live music. Particularly accoustic folky type music. I will always be keen to go to a gig!
My Interests
Cycling, running, travelling, camping. I like getting off the beaten track and seeing the smaller towns.
