We spend so much time in our own world that Couchsurfing allows us to see things in a different light and that is why I am forever grateful for these experiences. Finding camaraderie and connections with strangers around the world have been some of the most powerful experiences I have ever encountered and now I hope to give back to the community by hosting. I originally developed my profile in 2012 when studying abroad in Berlin, Germany. I did not realize how much meeting people from completely different backgrounds would impact me and restore my trust in strangers. I encourage anyone and everyone to become part of the Couchsurfing community in whatever ways they can contribute.
