CURRENT MISSION finding a way of living that's ecological and open for other people ABOUT ME I like to meet new people, like to do things a bit different than main-stream. I believe in an ecological way of living. By travelling I've learned everything's relative and I try not to let unimportant things rule my life. I Want to show my kids there's another way of living by travelling, volunteerswork, Lets (local exchange trading system), couchsurfing, bying second hand and repairing things, ... PHILOSOPHY live your life in a way that when I'm 90 and sitting in my elderly home room, I can look back with pleasure and contentment.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I stayed with guests in Germany, Belgium and Austria, always positive experiences! I hosted some Europe-travellers. I live close from the LF2 long distance bicycle route from Amsterdam to Paris (= the city route) so cyclists are very welcome!
Music, Movies, and Books
Wide range of music but I don't like the 'boom boom' music so much... In general I prefer European movies over American.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Volunteers camps in Indian reservate (South Dakota), bear refuge (Croatia), people that live in community (Belgium), working on the field with children from orphanage (Mongolia), Switzerland (vegan workcamp) and many more! Most long time ago but I still enjoy telling about it as if it was yesterday.
What I Can Share With Hosts
There's a private bedroom with a double bed, extra matress possible. We share the bathroom and breakfast and a nice talk!
