In Baños, Ecuador I went "puenting", which is similar to bungee jumping. Jumping head first off a bridge into a giant gorge definitely left me awestruck. I had a ten-hour layover in Istanbul, Turkey once. I left the airport to travel to the Hagia Sophia. On the train building were rushing by. All of a sudden, the Blue Mosque came into view, and it was unbelievable. That was a truly awe-inspiring moment. Recently I helped out at a girls' summer camp, which was organized to help empower Moldovan girls by teaching them entrepreneurism skills. Watching these amazing girls take what we taught them and create amazing business models was an amazing, and awe-inspiring moment. It was an amazing return on the work I had done in Moldova as a Peace Corps Volunteer.

I love traveling, and especially speaking and learning from locals. I'm very interested in economic development, especially through business development and entrepreneurism. I'm also very interested in politics and international affairs, and can talk about such topics for a long time. In general, I love learning new things, whatever the subject.
