Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING My friend suggested that I should try CS as I love to travel and experience different cultures. Also I like to meet new people too, and always love to help other fellow travellers. so let's do it! Pass the kindness over! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Had an amazing time when I visit South Australia, I appreciate the kindness of people and wish I will be able to do the same to others once I have chance.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies : All Tarantino works. The Beach , Mean Girls, Eurotrip, The Spanish Apartment, Breakfast on Pluto, And all kind of zombie movies! Indie movies always catch my attention. Music : I have very wide range though, and I do appreciate all kind of music. I usually listen to classic and Jazz, also R&B. Books : On the road, One Year off, Shantaram, The Kite Runner, Alice in the wonderland, Jack London works, too many to list them, but I do love reading!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Join the protest crowd in Seoul. See the Sunrise in the Thar desert of Rajasthan state. Learn how to salsa in Havana with locals. Fight off a robber in Rome. Safari in Kruger national park. And manage to prevent the invasion of baboons successfully. Managed to get home with friend safely after too much hash brownies in Amsterdam. Escape from snakes in the outback of Australia ! Explored the landscape of New Zealand, breathtaking views. Climbed the Mountain Fuji and made it to the top. Worked and lived in 3 different continents. Visited Uyuni salt flat, stunning view. Done a jungle trip in northern Peru ( And let a spider stayed on my hand for more than 10 secs). Volunteering in small coastal town in Chile, it was an amazing experience. Spend a month in Chilean Patagonia, and did my first trekking in Torres Del Paine. Lived on Saona island for 2 months with a rustic life style.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach Mandarin Chinese language but not kung fu ! ;) Also some Asian culture knowledges and share my cooking recipe with you.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My goofy stories during my trip. Language and culture exchange if you are interested :) I will cook dinner/lunch/brekkie for the host. Emotional Support ( for emergency cases)
My Interests
I am passionate about culinary and wine. Love to enjoy the taste of ingredient itself but I'm able to juggle with loads of herb and spice as well. Haven't been to any cooking class but rarely got negative reviews from friends or family member. Reading brought a huge influence to me since I was a kid, never feel l have learned enough knowledges. Started my first solo trip when I was 16, then realized a spontaneous trip without to do list can be great (especially if you are not interest in those things which are not fits your preference). Then this motivation brought me to every continent and then I decided to live my life differently. Becoming a digital nomad now, and I like what I am doing at the moment. I like tropical islands and beaches. My ideal holiday is to tan myself at the beach and swim in the sea. Oh and mojito, keep them coming!
