CURRENT MISSION To travel around Europe and meet as many people as possible. ABOUT ME I am a Canadian from the very cold city of Winnipeg in Manitoba (we are the secret province in the centre of Canada). I am living in France for seven months to teach English and travel to the very lovely countries in Europe and hopefully meet some very kind Europeans. PHILOSOPHY I believe that it is important to travel to new places and meet people from various backgrounds to learn about other cultures and consequently your own.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am a new member, therefore I have not had the chance to host anyone or to surf any couches yet but I hope to very soon. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couch surfed just a few times. The most recent has been in Toulouse and I had a wonderful time. I would like to have the opportunity to stay with more couch surfers during my travels.

I love reading about history, politics, etc. One of my recent favourite authors is Stieg Larsson.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have mostly travelled within Canada, but I was overwhelmed by the beautiful view of the sea at Peggy's Cove in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach English (and French when I was able to) and about my area of study: Canadian and Aboriginal history and the various other topics I have studied in my undergraduate degree.
My Interests
Painting, sketching, designing and constructing clothing, reading, writing, history, and politics. I like to discuss differences as well as similarities to find a common ground and understanding. I can be very quiet and also very energetic- I am adaptable.
