ABOUT ME I enjoy the outdoors, especially birding, hiking, beaching and biking. I have two kids ages 8 and 10 who are fabulous crack ups most of the time. My husband is a semi-nerdy engineer. We are a laid back family that likes to play board games and eat. PHILOSOPHY I have embraced the title "lady of leisure". As long as I can, I plan to send hubby off to work and spend my days outside. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have an apartment with two twin beds. I'm glad to make a cup of coffee. I also hope to use CS in birding trips of my own. Next big adventure: Alaska! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Only stories from friends.

I like the Wailin' Jennies and other bluegrass/folk. My favorite movie is "Little Miss Sunshine". I would say that "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is my favorite book.
