CURRENT MISSION My current mission is to survive until it is 5.30pm Friday evening. ABOUT ME I am Rita, hear me roar. Nah probably more along the lines of I am Rita hear me giggle. What do I like doing? I like driving in my car, going to gigs and festivals, hanging out with my friends. I like to shout at the telly. My all time favourite film is The Highlander. I like to go for walks very early in the morning when I've been up to devilment all night. I like almost everything that is bad for you smoking, drinking, fried food, dancing inappropriately. Some would say dancing inappropriately is not bad for you but you should try doing the MC Hammer dance at Broken Social Scene surrounded by hardcore musos. Scary. PHILOSOPHY Drink like theres nobody watching, no sorry that's meant to be dance isn't it. Honestly...I'm not sure I have a personal philosophy. Be nice to people and laugh as mucha s possible is probably it.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING As yet haven't participated but I've adopted many strangers over the years. I also have a poster from a Vitalic gig in Carlow signed by a load of Dubliners saying how brilliant my hospitality is. I've found a few lost cowboys over the years and gave them a sofa and a blanket. Once I woke up to find all my money had been stolen another time I woke up to find a lovely note, a half a packet of cigarettes and a โฌ10 note. I believe than in general most people are pretty decent. The long and the short of it is if you want to come and stay you are welcome. I'll do my best to pump up the inflatable mattress and make things as comfy as possible for you. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've slept on many sofas and many people have slept on my sofa but it's never been prearranged. I did wwoofing in Australia. Stayed in a shack in the rain forest and I loved it
My Interests
Drinking red wine/beer/southern comfort. Eating tasty food. Playing on the internet. Sitting Down, Standing up. I love comedy. Favourites would be the Mighty Boosh, Spaced, Garth Marenghis Darkplace, the IT Crowd, Flight of the Conchords etc. I love going to gigs. Top 3 gigs would be Final Fantasy at Electric Picnic Saul Williams at EP and ATP, Violent Femmes at the Olympia years ago
