Originally from the American southwest, I've lived in the northeast since 2006. I'm passionate about exploring new places and cultures and I work full-time as the grants director at an anti-poverty nonprofit in New York City. This summer I'll be volunteering in Tel Aviv at a progressive community organization and working on writing a book.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm spending July and August in Tel Aviv, Israel and need a place (or places) to stay during my visit. My previous trips to Israel have mostly been in hotels or kibbutzim and I want to use this opportunity to live like a local.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I'm an excellent cook and would love to prepare delicious meals for my hosts. Also, I'm a writer and editor and am available to help with English translation.
