Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Interested in meeting people from other countries and cultures. Have travelled extensively in New Zealand and willing to share resources. Have even been on the rail Trail biking with Couch Surfers - 98 km in one day. Didn't know I could do that!!! Have kayaks available for short trips up a nearby river. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We have been couch surfing for 6 years now and are loving it.

Like to read and go to movies but tend to rely on friends to suggest good things to see or read.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Canoeing down the Whanganui River with friends. This is a 4 or 5 day trip. I have done it 5 times and the best one was where we canoed for 2 days, hiked for 3 days and jet boated out to our destination.

My Interests
People, animals, travel, gardening, biking(to avoid paying for fuel) around town, baking. My sister lives in Colorado - USA and I have had a couple of trips to visit her. We travelled to Alaska together.
