CURRENT MISSION Finding my purpose as life transitions. Pursuing the political and social changes I think are important. Finding economical housing in the process of engaging in those tasks.. In New York City, if possible.. ABOUT ME I've been an Alaska resident since 1978. Before that I lived in the Yukon Territory of Canada, as a member of an alternative school in a rural village there. I began working on farms at the age of 9, and started hitch-hiking the U.S. at 13. I have a clean criminal record. I'm a former mental health clinician, long time opponent of the War On (Some) Drugs, supporter of the Occupy Wall St. Movement, and a supporter of human rights in general. Let all People live as they choose, providing they don't prevent another from doing the same.. (My gorgeoous 2nd-grade elementary school teacher impressed that upon me.. many years ago..) Currently engaged in volunteer journalism and political activism.. PHILOSOPHY If we each focus on improving our own interactions with the world, the world will become a lot better place, with a lot less conflict, and a lot less resistance to the changes we need to see. I am here, in this time, because I have not had sufficient cause to stop this ride yet..
