Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I do not participate in CS for financial reasons. When I travel, I fully expect to pay for accommodation, but I will make occasional exceptions if I find a host who I feel with provide something above and beyond the typical 'backpacker' experience. One Amazing Thing I've Done
April 2011 - The North Mountain temple in Xining, Qinghai (China) It's not a particularly well known attraction, but I managed to hike the thousand or so steps with amazing timing, and caught an incredible view of the sunset over the city of Xining. July 2012 - Dancing in a car with a bunch of Saudi Arabians in Malaysia to Enrique Iglesias during Ramadan. It's one of those things where you kind of had to be there, but all I know is that Enrique makes the world go round.
