Why I'm on Couchsurfing
26 February 2019 I first joined to host, and get to know and learn from all different kinds of people. I only really use couchsurfing some of the time, but I like to occasionally read some of the group posts. I've gone to a local CS event or two. I suppose i even hosted one when my first CS'r revisited me in my new home, a year later. It's May, 2019 and I'm on a road trip to New Mexico to go spelunking. I'll find other things to do too! I'm definitely open to hanging out and getting to know each other. I've done that with a few of my former couchsurfers, as a host, and they've always been good people, who remain, at the very least, facebook friends -- and a couple are even better friends. April 2016 Despite mother's instructions, i talk to strangers; i like meeting them. I like helping. I like learning, teaching, sharing. Minor note: I've actually hosted more Couchsurfers than Couchsurfing claims. Unfortunately it seems like Couchsurfing forgot about some of them. But I have not! My Couchsurfing experiences will never be forgotten! :)
Music, Movies, and Books
music: indie, punk, electronic junk, and a massive chunk of other funk. :) movies: office space; pulp fiction; that sugar film books: a people's history of the United States; people of the lie.... I can't currently remember all the good books I've read.... :/
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I hiked from Spain's French border to Santiago de Compostela, near the Atlantic Ocean. It was roughly 485 miles, or 780 km. :o
