CURRENT MISSION See the world, meet cool people, and make new friendships. Also looking for the best ice cream everywhere I go :-) ABOUT ME PLEASE READ THE SECTION "COUCH INFORMATION" BEFORE SENDING A COUCH REQUEST :-) Originally from Bulgaria, studied in Italy / US, started work in New York and finally moved to London - so a citizen of the "world" :-) I really enjoy travelling and have been lucky to visit many countries - I always prefer a "local" experience, so hope to meet many CSers on the way. Love meeting new people and would be happy to give you a "local" experience in this wonderful city! PLEASE READ THE SECTION "COUCH INFORMATION" BEFORE SENDING A COUCH REQUEST :-) PHILOSOPHY Keep it simple - be happy and enjoy life! What does it take? Good friends, good food (& beer!), good conversation, a ton of jokes, and definitely lots of sun & beach - the rest is just details.... :-)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Host + play London tour guide :-) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Surfed for my 1st time in Argentina over X-mas 2009 and had a great experience; since then have added many more in Spain / South Africa / Mozambique / Colombia / Hong Kong / China ... Have hosted a few people already and look forward to hosting more :-) Especially after one of my 1st CS guests set my pants on fire :-)) [I'm not joking!]
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I like indie & "foreign language" movies (Himalaya, March of the Penguins, City of God, Almodovar, Luc Besson), but there are some Hollywood classics :-) The Usual Suspects, Star Wars, Seven, The Untouchables, Shawshank Redemption... Books: Paulo Coelho, Noam Chomsky, Kahlil Gibran (A Treasury of Wisdom, The Prophet's Collection), Shantaram Music: Lounge / chillout, Afrobeat, R&B; "ethnic" music (have a nice mini collection from my travels)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Sunset and moonrise at the same time from the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town - wow.... :-) Vacation in Sierra Leone only 18 months after the war ended - seeing people's energy and high spirits amidst their daily struggles is uplifting... Being a few metres away from a baby elephant (which was already as big as me!!) - priceless :-)
My Interests
Dancing (love salsa, but I'm a beginner! otherwise can get down pretty well, especially to some proper dance music) Others: travel, photography, world food, basketball, football [the "real" one, not the American version :-)], Formula 1, aviation, gadgets Finally: Good conversation :-)
