Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Looking to meet interesting people while travelling! I do a lot of solo travelling, helps pushing myself out of the comfort zone and meet locals, who are the most precious connections you can make when travelling :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Music? Trip-hop is really what drives me crazy (yes, not hip hop... trip hop!): my favourite artists are Portishead, Massive Attack but I like all commercial music. But to be honest I listen to pretty much anything that is not heavy metal or techno. Books: I like Noirs and Black Comedies, mystery books. Movies: Black comedies, mystery, thrillers... something I don't like? Harry Potter and Superheroes (yes, I know, you're going to hate me now).
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've created an Italian language course which is followed by more than 700k people in the World. I also travelled to Malaysia after I found a very cheap offer, booking just 18 days before actually travelling!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an Italian native speaker, and in addition to that I speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese and English. I do know a lot of interesting socio-culturally relevant stories about Italy if you are interested. And if you have some trouble with some computer/smartphone/tablet I can definitely help you. I can help you "tech-up" your holidays and have less headaches when you travel around :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
I have only a double bed. So basically half and half. I also have an inflatable double bed but not enough space on the floor (since I moved to a new apartment with less space!) Then there's a kitchen and a toilet. You know, normal stuff you can find in a house these days. :P
My Interests
Travelling, tech, languages are my top three interests. I should be able to speak German by now, but reality is far from it. I hope I'll have to update this intro soon and say I speak it "confidently" :)
