CURRENT MISSION Studying Ethnology and Psychology in beautiful Heidelberg ABOUT ME Hi there! what would my friends say about me... I think they'd say I am a uncomplicated, open minded and thoughtful person that smiles and laughs a lot. I always like to get to know new places and to meet new people with their stories, believes and ways of life. I believe everything that happens happens for a reason. At times I have to remind myself of that though, especially when uni takes up too much of my time... ;) I love my sport (handball) and I try to travel as much as possible in my holidays. "Travelling is living like life itself is a journey" PHILOSOPHY Change is the only constant thing in life. That to start with... :) Life is like riding a bicycle. Eventually you have to keep moving to keep the balance.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I live in a small shared flat with my housemate David shortly outside of Heidelberg. I´m not always able to host but I´ll be happy to hangout and help you to find your way in Heidelberg ;) Apart from that I use couchsurfing as an opportunity to find cheap places to stay and meet people from the respective area. That´s in my opinion the best way to find out what life can be like in different places. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I did couchsurfing mainly in Australia which brought me heaps of wonderful friends and an awesome time! Also I did couchsurfing in Heidleberg itself while I was looking for a flat. I am experienced in living together with many different people as I stayed at lots of different places in Australia, because of my shared flat in Heidelberg and my old fundraising job, during which I travel and work in a team. I am curious to meet more couchsurfers now! :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I always like finding new music, I like a bit of everything (except for heavymetall and too aggressive hip hop ;) and I love Ben Howard and similar singer-songwriter music. I definitely like to talk about movies ;) In books I like to read autobiographical stories, stories about journeys but also novels.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I really enjoyed my freedom during one year in Australia, after finishing High School in Germany, and doing the things I always wanted to do, like living on farms and cattel stations in the outback, roadtrips, sailing, snorcheling... Love, peace, trouble and challenges - I´m grateful for every experience.
