ABOUT ME I am curious about the world and other people. I like to visit small towns, villages, not so touristy nor obvious locations and meet locals wherever I travel to learn about their lives and places they live in. My other interests are sustainable tourism, street photography and EU-related issues.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE couchsurfing is a good place for meeting inspiring, open-minded people you share some values with.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like reading about travels, explorations and adventures. I also enjoy watching documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent half a year in Kyrgyzstan where I rode wild horses, slept in a yurt and was gently forced (deliberate oxymoron) to drink litres of kumis. In Tajikistan I rode a donkey at the edge of a cliff. In Uzbekistan (Samarkand) ended up looking for a guesthouse in the middle of a night (no prior reservation) as my minibus arrived there exactly at midnight and since there was some big wedding in the city, all guesthouses were full... Then I had a chance to spend 6 months of my life in the Caribbean, on a small island called St. Vincent, and after that another 6 months in a totally different part of the world, namely Cambodia. Many stories and memories from both places. Currently I'm based in Brussels.
