CURRENT MISSION Trying Mexico on for size. I enjoy being outside, hiking, climbing, water, learning about other cultures, religions/ conversing, exchanging ideas with people with who have experiences completely different from my own. Finding a way to open up with people in a mutually satisfying way. For work, I am a director for TV, commercials, and film. I like to meet people who live life with passion. PHILOSOPHY Taking risks is the fastest way to happiness, to success, and to true enlightenment. It's the fastest way to heartbreak, to failure, and to completely losing yourself. It's worth it.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've surfed a lot, hosted a few, but now I am in a period of transition now so not able to host at this time. I do know Charlotte, Seattle WA, and Upstate NY pretty well though, so if you need any pointers, feel free to hit me up. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Bigtime surfer... took a mammoth road trip in 05 after graduation all across the USA (and a taste of Mexico and Canada). Slept in our van for 3 months, only stayed in a hotel twice (hiking the North rim to South rim at the Grand Canyon wore me out!), the rest was all van camping, tent camping, friends, and CS. THANK YOU! Hosting people has also been rewarding. Met some cool folks. CS just has awesome people on it.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I was there for the birth of my godson. Hands down most incredible thing I have ever witnessed. Hiking from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the South Rim with three cans of tuna fish, a 40, and a few bottles of water. Dead of summer. I am only alive by the grace of the Universe and help from strangers. Not smart, not recommended, but the closest thing to a religious experience I have ever had. Letting life take me where it will. whether it's living in the wilderness and mountains of Washington State, driving around the country seeing family, or popping out to Europe for a few months with hardly a plan at all.
