CURRENT MISSION to worship Earnie and Burt! ABOUT ME Feeling the need to escape cold England has been with me for a long while.. so am finally getting my thing together and planning the big escape! Can be quite random sometimes (as you may have discovered from my 'interests'! Can be a bit ditsy.. latest effort was putting a croissant in a toasting conveyor machine and setting it alight! Never had a charred rock hard croissant before. Most of the time, my cooking efforts are quite good. PHILOSOPHY Still figuring it out.. may have a flashbulb moment soon!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE most likely falling off a couch (other relations include chair & bed) not that i'm clumsy - more very likely a tiny bit tipsy. I like fabric based couches, like the huge one in a soup advert (big, cosy and comfy) as opposed to a cold couch (which you could warm by farting on - but that wouldn't be me!)
Music, Movies, and Books
Any book I can get my hands on, although I have a lot of reading to 'catch up' on.. Love live music, and would love to go to the Rio carnival in Brazil. Watching murder mysteries on tv - yes, i really am in my twenties, and not purple-rinsing yet! Love cosying up and watching a film at home or anywhere.. while sunning myself in the park/on the beach.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Being driven through sugar cane fields while drinking and listening to reggae - a very chilled, happy & content experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach self - always trying to keep mind open.. I love listening to music/spanish CD (trying to learn) while cooking. Have recently convinced a lady in new local Italian deli to teach me her Italian cooking skills - soon I will be a master of Italian sources (and a few other recipes..)
My Interests
I'm a geek loving, shopaddict clean-freak. Love going to live gigs, last one was the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.. yeah?! The usual suspects: music, eating, books, laughing, exploring new places, driving-singing. The unusual suspects: Reading recipes and menus and drooling over them, while trying to imagine the food. Opening a dictionary, and taking a while to find at a specific word because i'm distracted by reading various other words and their meanings. Looking at maps (freak!) Writing with lots of (brackets) and dots... Having a bath, eating chocolate! Hot steaming pasta or a bowl of spicy noodle ramen the day after drinking. Checking out random stranger's shopping purchases on the conveyer belt in a supermarket. The sun! Being out in the open air - although i'm not a huge fan of the cooler climates. Having picnics - would love to have one in a field of flowers on a hot sunny day.
