Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've been surfing couches for just as long as i've been traveling -- thought this is the first through this site! I look forward to making connections with the people, not just the places i visit.

Right now i am totally immersed in the book 'Shantaram' by Gregory Roberts. It's awesome to be reading a book that is set here in India.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once tried to walk 400 miles: from Chicago to Minnesota. About 4 days into my journey it became apparent that there was no way I was going to make it the entire way... My rescue came in the form of two guys in a hippie van. They were heading east -- completely the opposite direction. I hopped ship. Together we explored the Appellations, did some 'Urban Camping' in New York City, jumped off a bridge in Virginia, and played some hacky sack in DC. Keep yourself open and things always seem to work out.
