Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING After three years of law school, I'm traveling for two months before I start working as a lawyer. Once I settle down in Los Angeles, I'll host as much as possible! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I did a road trip down the East Coast a few years ago, and couchsurfed much of the way. It was fantastic. I also couchsurfed in China a little bit, which was also fantastic. In short, it's been fantastic.
Music, Movies, and Books
I recently read: The Big Short, Moneyball, The Sun Also Rises, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, It's Our Turn to Eat, Of Human Bondage. Of Human Bondage almost changed my life. Almost. I recently watched: Despicable Me, Toy Story 3, A Serious Man, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Recent albums:
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I hesitate to presume anything I've done is amazing... I've secretly filmed footage of a Chinese prison.
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing I keep in mind is that no matter how bad things are going in my life, things can always be worse and there are always people worse off. Realizing that, I shut the eff up and deal with it, most of the time. Most of the time, life's pretty damn good.
My Interests
Politics, law, history, basketball, blablabla. Nothing super interesting. Human rights. China.
