Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've surfed a lot of couches but mostly informally with friends I've made while traveling. People are increasingly becoming the highlight of my travels. I like the trust and personal warmth that comes with this kind of travel and want to spread the love! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My trip last summer to the UK I stayed with friends a lot. Consequently I got to meet a lot of local people and really get a feel for places and how people live beyond just seeing the sites as well as making a lot of new friends and reconnecting with old ones. It was a bit of an epiphany for me on what travel is all about.
Music, Movies, and Books
Enjoy movies, lately my girlfriend has made me watch a lot of romantic comedies but I have to confess I've enjoyed them. I don't have highly developed musical tastes but enjoy electronic music, pop and most mainstream music that comes across the radio. Not crazy about heavy rap, country or polka!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbed into a mud volcano in Colombia.
