CURRENT MISSION Mission ... ? well I'm happy to help others ... and if it's only with a good advice ABOUT ME Grown up in a small village in Switzerland .... and still living in this region .... after my apprenticeship as a precision mechanic me and my friend "pimped-up" our own Land Rover and traveled for a year in North America ... still live on that. Afterwards I did some study on production and worked in this field for 25 years .... establish a family with my wife and now having two grown up boys PHILOSOPHY sun, fun, ... and nothing to do .... :-)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I can offer up to 2 sleeping possibilities COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE It started at the age of 14 !! when I hitchhiked alone to the south of France (1000 miles) to see the sea .... in 1974, this was still possible ... met a lot of nice people ... I even got a couch at the foreign legion. Did not understood to much French but I survived and found the way back home. This started my career as a traveler but with CouchSurfing I just started ....

Where should I start ... there would be so much to say ... jumped ones on journey to Scandinavia out of a fast driving train ... just to pick up some cloth I forgot at the campground .... almost cost me my life ....
