I have driven from coast to coast, up to Alaska, and down to Mexico, through every province and 42 states. I love finding obscure places and meeting fellow travelers! PHILOSOPHY I'm a minimalist. I generally have so few possessions that they can all fit in my car!! My personal philosophy: "Ain't in no hurry, but I got to keep movin'!"

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I started as a surfer and now I'm a frequent host. I love hosting because when I'm not free to travel the world, the world comes to me! So many of my guests have been wonderful people with great stories to share.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Camping on a beach in Alaska 10 miles from the nearest town, on the edge of a fjord beneath 6,000' glacier-capped mountains was amazing. But so was being spooked by a moose in a hot spring in northern BC. My Interests
The mountains are my happy place! Climbing, hiking, skiing, scrambling, you name it. I like running light and living simply. I have a real love for the desert southwest, too.
