Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING A recent move has lead to a need to step back from couch surfing. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've never used this site to find a couch, but I've used MANY couches! I hosted many people (probably about 15-20) while in Prince George.
Music, Movies, and Books
Funny travel books (J. Maarten Troost, Bill Bryson) are my current thing. Most new rock from Montreal (e.g. Sam Roberts, Stars, Arcade Fire, Plants and Animals)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Watching the Netherlands beat Uruguay in Cape Town to make the World Cup final. I didn't have tickets to the match in Cape Town, and hadn't planned to go there. I quickly changed my route and caught the match. What a great experience. I went to Amsterdam to watch the final on Museumplein - not quite as successful a day.
