CURRENT MISSION Find the TARDIS, then don't stop pestering the Doctor until I get at least one trip through time ABOUT ME I study German and Indonesian and sundry liberal arts at University of Wisconsin. I watch so much British television it is not even funny...no seriously, it's not, because none of my American friends ever know what I'm talking about. Doctor Who (mainly new), The Mighty Boosh, QI, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Life on Mars, Black Books, Green Wing, and Jonathan Creek are some of my favorites. Books: things by Douglas Adams, Orson Scott Card, Agatha Christie, Erle Stanley Gardner, Stephen Fry, Dashiell Hammett. Music: lots of indie pop/rock, especially Canadian; starting to get into Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, etc.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Walking in a national park in Montana, USA, I found a bear cub in a tree, not twenty feet away from me. That was pretty scary and awesome at the same time, because where there's a bear cub, there is generally also a grown-up bear that wants to CLAW YOUR FACE OFF GRAR

I can write a pretty dang good poem in English, and draw a picture to go with it that does not totally suck. I'd like to learn slang, specifically British but whatever.
