Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Me gusta conocer gente de diferentes países y culturas, mostrar y compartir mi ciudad (sus lugares famosos y los menos conocidos pero importantes). Aprender idiomas y escuchar grandes historias de vida. // Meeting people from all over the world is something that I really enjoy. Also, I can show my city.(its famous areas, as well as, its unknown but interesting places). I´d like to learn different languages and listen great stories of life. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Como invitada tuve varias esperiencias: ¡siempre fueron muy buenas!. Como anfitriona no tuve ninguna, aunque 3 estudiantes norteamericanos se quedaron en casa bajo otro programa. // As a guest, I had great experiences. As a host, I didn´t have any experience, although three northamerican students stayed at home under another program.
Music, Movies, and Books
¡Mmm re difil! Me gusta mucho el Arte en general, así que aquí va un brevísimo panorama: Películas: - Volver al futuro. Probablemente la película que más veces vi en mi vida. - Viaje a Italia / Te querré siempre. Con mi actriz preferida I. Bergman y en Italia :) - Ojos bien cerrados, la última película de Kubrick. - El Origen, de C. Nolan el mismo de Batman. - Laberinto, con Bowie como mago. No se puede pedir mucho más! // Movies: - Back to the future. Probably, the movie that I have seen more times in my life. - Viaggio in Italia (Rosselini, 1954). Ingrid Bergman is my favourite actress of all times and Italy the best location to get lost and starting over! - Eyes wide shut (S. Kubrick, 1999). A couple story, deep, sordid and magnificent! - Inception (C. Nolan, 2010) It makes me think a lot, even now, about how powerful one idea can be. And obviously Leonardo DiCaprio is ... great ;) - Labyrinth (J. Henson, 1986) David Bowie as a wizard, a pretty and young girl, a great fantastic story and all these henson's creatures, epic! Música / Music: I mostly listen rock music ( from indie, brit-pop to rock nacional)Also, I really like classical music, especially Tchaicovsky, Mahler,Debussy and Wagner. As well as, I like Tango! Libros - Literatura fantástica (Tolkien, Rowling, Martin) - Los relatos policiales. - Los escritores del S.XIX. - Las grandes obras clásicas de Occidente (Desde los tres trágicos griegos hasta Shakespeare) - Ensayos de Arte y Estética. - Literatura Argentina ( principalmente Borges ) // Books: - Fantastic Literature (J. R. R. Tolkien, J. K. Rowling and G. R. R. Martin) - Detective Stories ( such as Arthur Conan Doyle or Stevenson´s "Dr. Jeckyll Mister Hyde") - Nineteen century writers. ( Dickens ) - Classic plays from the Greeks to Shakespeare. - I also read arts history and aesthetic essays. - Argentinian Literature. (Borges)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- La primera vez que vi el mar. - La tierra vista desde un avión. - El cielo estrellado de la Patagonia. - Ir caminando por la calle con amigos en un ciudad de Bolivia, escuchar ruidos de una fiesta, y ser invitados a un casamiento de gente que no conocíamos!! - Una fiesta en los jardines de un castillo en Escocia!! - Tomar el té con un viejo/a amigo/a que vive lejos y darte cuenta que la felicidad se parece mucho a tomar el te, sidra, cerveza con un viejo/a amigo/a. - Las experiencias estéticas. (Botticelli en Uffici, la pintura negra de Goya en el Prado, los prerafaelistas en el Tate Britain) - Enamorarse ( de una persona, un lugar, una idea, etc) // - The first time I saw the sea. - See the earth from an airplane. - The starry sky of Patagonia. - With some friends in Bolivia, we were walking down the street, heard some music, and were invited to a wedding by people we didn´t know! Best party ever! - A party in the gardens of a castle in Scotland! Epic and magic! - Have tea with a friend who lives far away and realize that happiness is very similar to have tea, cider, beer with and old friend. - An aesthetic experience. - Fall in love.... with people, places, ideas.

Enseñar: La ciudad, un poco de su cultura y patrimonio. Aprender: a cocinar comida típica de cada lugar. Compartir: un buen momento :) // Teach: I can show the city, its customs and cultural heritage. Learn: I´d like to learn how to cook typical food. Share: A good time!
My Interests
¡Pff!¿Por dónde empezar? - Viajar y conocer gente de otros países y otras culturas. (obviamente, por eso CS me parece lo más!!) - Salir con amigos ( a una fiesta o a tomar algo a un pub). También quedarse en casa en plan peli o reunión. - Ir a museos, galerías, el cine, el teatro, ver y escuchar música en vivo. Cualquier evento y programa cultural y artístico que me resulte interesante :) - Me gusta mucho leer, no tanto escribir, estar tranquila en cualquier lugar, disfrutar y no pensar en nada. - Los animales y la naturaleza. De los animales me gusta mucho los gatos, y de la naturaleza el bosque, la montaña y el mar. También me gusta la ciudad, su arquitectura y la gente. // - Travelling and meeting people from different countries and cultures. (That is why I love CS!) - Hang out with friends, going out or stay in, enjoying a good movie. - I like very much visiting museums and art galleries. Going to the theater, cinema and concerts. - Reading, to be relaxed and thinking of anything is something that I really like to do. - I love animals (especially cats), I love nature (forest, mountains and sea). Also, I like the city (architecture and their residents).
