CURRENT MISSION Broaden my horizon by meeting people! Raise my personal wisdom barrier ABOUT ME Two words that describes my person: Reflective and perceptive I am a patient and foregiving person that likes to have a good time - and of course: travel! I believe in helping people and that with a smile and a helping hand you get a bit further. Very fond of good food and drinking a good beer - being from Denmark beer has a special place in my heart. PHILOSOPHY I believe in emotional honesty - staying true to your own feelings and the feelings you have towords people. Furthermore I believe that one's occupation in life should reflect something, which "makes sense". Whether on a personal level or in a more holistic way doesn't matter, but it matters that one has given it a thought and thereby has a personal belief in what they do. Finally, I'm considering starting a movement called: The endless definition possibilities of the term "happiness" ;-)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I want to be a good host and give something back. I joined the community because I am going on a road trip in the US and hoping to have some good and fun CS experiences - if I/we succeed I will give some the hospitality back that was given to me. Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Huge Tarantino fan! In general very fond of movies with a different angle - movies that are not afraid of being different and translating messages that are not obviously interpreted. Music: Rock! The Libertines, Babyshambles, White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Interpol, Oasis, Velvet Underground, Jimi Hendrix, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and of course Johnny Cash :-) Books (small list of authors I like): Paul Auster, John Steinbeck, Hemingway, Paulo Coelho, Douglas Coupland and many more.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Seen Sahara Desert Corals at Zanzibar Lofoten from a distance (mountains located in the ocean outside of the coast of Norway) Morning mist at several golf courses Coast of Northern Jutland (Danish peninsula) A large part of Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Senegal, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire) Done 3 times at Roskilde Festival (huge Danish festival 110.000 people) US coast to coast in old custom-built limosine
My Interests
Fun and activities. I like to test my barriers. So whatever is on the program I am ready - rock n' roll, baby! My personal favorites are: Photography, Mountain biking, running, concerts and cooking - anything that challenges you senses and makes you feel alive. Good friendships. I enjoy having really good friends and doing different activities with them. It's fun to make friendships grow and creating emotional bonds to the people in your life that you care about.
