Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I recently started traveling by bike and really enjoy this slow and simple way of discovering places. Couchsurfing feels like a natural part of this kind of journey. I enjoy meeting new people, exchanging stories, and connecting with open-minded travelers along the way.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: A mix of piano solo, trip-hop, and world music. Films: I enjoy films by directors such as Kurosawa, Besson, Lars von Trier, Almodóvar, and Ken Loach. Books: Geopolitics, literature, and novels.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveling from Avignon to Ho Chi Minh City without flying. The journey starts by crossing Europe, then taking the Trans-Siberian Railway from Saint Petersburg to Ulan-Ude in the middle of winter. From there, continuing through Mongolia and China on my own, before finishing with a motorcycle journey across Vietnam from north to south.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m always happy to learn new things. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with people and exchanging experiences and perspectives.
