PHILOSOPHY Stay open. Stay curious. Stay creative. ABOUT ME Hi there! I'm just a Russian girl who loves getting to know different corners of our amazing world. As trivial as it sounds, I do enjoy this the most! The last two years I spent in Southern California and Washington, D.C. fulfilling my academic and professional dreams. Right now I'm back home in Russia preparing myself for a new chapter in my life. I love to travel, explore new places, be outdoors or stay indoors (well, that depends on a day) and do some interesting and adventurous things with like-minded people. I so love being in the company of international people as I learn from them so many cool things, and right now I have probably more friends in other parts of the world other than Russia (don't get me wrong, Russian people are awesome, too!). I'm a pretty open-minded, fun loving and naturally curious person. Oh, and one more thing, probably most of all I like laughing and making people laugh.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I've just recently started exploring the world of Couchsurfing. I've heard a lot of good things about it from my friends and I figured it's a good way to meet adventurous and open-minded people and have a good conversation or even maybe go on a trip! In fact, my first (and the only) experience with CS was an organized road trip with some CSers which I really enjoyed (You can see a picture of me and my three amazing couchsurfing friends in my profile). And I'm so excited to continue my exploration:)
Music, Movies, and Books
I like when people share their favorite music bands, interesting books that they recently discovered or movies that impressed them. That's probably why I have a lot of very different favorite songs, books and movies.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The most amazing things that have happened to me were unexpected, spontaneous and "why-the-heck-not" decisions. But if to choose the biggest life-changing experience, that rewired my mind, I'd say it's my studying abroad years in California.
Teach, Learn, Share
I personally think I can teach, learn and share through intellectual and fun conversations.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Good and fun time!
My Interests
I'm really into intercultural communication and cooperation, personally and professionally. I am passionate about contributing to international peacebuilding efforts through building effective communication between people from different cultures. The fun stuff and hobbies would include outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, walking, swimming). I also like hanging out in Art museums, used book stores, and live music venues. So I think I'm pretty much down for everything!
