CURRENT MISSION Meet new people & live outside my comfort zone ABOUT ME I am in a period of transition right now- recently laid off, sold my house and am taking advantage of some newfound freedom. I love to travel and meet new people, but I am also a homebody. I love to laugh and see the world as a friendly place as opposed to a hostile place. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I heard about this from Karen Hawes, who I recently met while on a trip to Honduras. She stayed one night with me in the Palm Springs area and now I am going to try being a couchsurfer.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Raising my son has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. Living in NYC during and after 9/11/01 was the most amazing thing I have ever seen/experienced.
My Interests
Anything outdoors- hiking, exploring a city on foot, trail running, sailing, skiing, trying new things, meeting new people, seeing things with a fresh perspective. Live music, good food and great conversation are some of my favorite things.
