hi! I'm from Slovenia and I'm currently studying in the Netherlands (social sciences). I like volunteering at movie or music festivals, making pasta with my grandma and baking bread. I'm usually travelling with friends, it's Paul this time. He's uses markers to express himself and he does it god damn well. He usually has some french (forgot to say, he's french) one in his pocket.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I enjoy visiting places but mostly people, so Couchsurfing is greaatt! I think that's the best way to get the gist of the place. So I'd love to stay at yours (and of course you can stay at mine if you're visiting Slovenia!!). I'm usually travelling to places not to do the touristy stuff (only), but to attend a workshop, volunteer etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
music: Simon and Garfunkel (or their contemporary The Milk Cartoon Kids), Avishai Cohen, BartolomeyBittmann, but make sure to check out Fukui's album Scenery 1976 films: Youth and La Grande Bellezza (Sorrentino), The Dreamers (Bertolucci), Inside Llewyn Davis (Coen brothers) books: One flew over cuckoo's nest, Unbearable lightness of being
One Amazing Thing I've Done
hmmm (I'm sure there's a few) (I'll think of it and we can talk about it before I come) ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
way too often I find myself debating whether Slovenia is in the Balkans/Eastern or Central Europe (see what Žižek has to say on that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwDrHqNZ9lo) ah no, I like learning from the people around me and that's mostly why I prefer Couchsurfing over ho(s)tels. I feel like that at my age the world is starting to make more and more sense, you're starting to realize how everything is connected.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can cook and help with any household-related stuff if needed! I also like talking with people in general, but can also be quite and fully understand the concept of personal space! :)
