Shy but brave. Looking forward to discovering the whole world. Always up for a good laugh. Love traveling, yoga, water sports and animals. Please use the request button when requesting to stay with me. Don´t send me a message. Please notice that on a regular basis I cannot host people during weekdays due to work. If I have to attend an emergency case I never know when I can come back home. Also notice I live in GUILDFORD, NOT LONDON. I'm only 30min away from Central London on the train, but if you want to be in the city I'm not your girl. And I didn't want to have to say this but it's happened so...here we go...DO NOT MEET WITH ME/REQUEST TO STAY WITH ME TO FLIRT. Do not try to get closer when I am not sending that kind of signal. And, of course, do not send me a request for the wrong reasons.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people, both at home and when I travel...obvious! I also like the idea of giving people a chance to experience a place "from the inside", not as a tourist. I have never liked being a tourist! I wanna hear all the stories you have to tell me :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Incubus! Rock and all it's variants. With time I have become more tolerant of all sorts of music, but you will still find me mainly listening to Metallica, RHCP, Hoobastank, Blink 182, Led Zeppelin, Muse, GnR... and a bunch of tacky 80's pop and pop-rock. I can't stand raeggeton or similar!! My favourite movie is the Crow although I can watch almost anything as long as it has good acting and an interesting plot. Really like Will Smith as an actor, so I may have watched pretty much all his movies! Same applies to Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt. On the female side...gotta love Julia Roberts! I am an 80-90's kid after all :) My favourite book is the Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry. I really enjoy historical novels and stories about the history of WWI and WWII. I think history helps us understand the current socio-political situation of a country/countries. I must admit I do not read lots of books lately as I have to do a lot of scientific reading for work...interesting but exhausting! I mainly read about microbiology, antimicrobial resistances and infectious diseases (those I do for fun) but then I have to read about all sorts of advances and discoveries in small animal medicine and surgery. Ok, I have talked too much about work now! Sorry!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Only one??!! Surfing, bungee jumping, living in different countries, help animals on a daily basis, meeting my favourite band in person...really not possible to decide which one is the most amazing to me! One day I will write a book about all the amazing (and not amazing) experiences I have had in life...and it will be a best seller!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be an English teacher before I became a vet surgeon. I am always happy to help people improve their English. English has been such a blessing in my life! It has allowed me to travel, to live abroad, study abroad, gets jobs and meet lots of people :) Languages in general are fascinating! I wish I was fluent in a few more. One day I'll learn Japanese. I am also happy to practice yoga/acroyoga with anyone who is interested. I have been practicing for about 15 years now. Science and medicine and anything related to biomedical science...I can very geeky! Specially when it comes to microbiology I would like to simply learn anything and everything I can and people have the patience to teach me!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Always a smile, a good conversation, languages, pet advice and some Spanish recipes
