Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is an incredible project which helps people meet new friends all over the world, hang out with locals and stay close to different cultures. As for me, I really want to be "local" in every city I come to. And only hosts can help me to feel in that way. I spent Christmas 2017 in Lapland! It was such an incredible experience: husky safari, Northen light, small fisherman's village, the sea of snow, Santa's residence etc.
